The company is offering a substantial 20% price cut on the base Steam Deck unit for the holiday shopping season, transforming this affordable PC gaming handheld increasingly accessible.
Price Drop and Offer Period
This 256 GB LCD Steam Deck can be purchased for $319.20, reduced from its standard $399 price tag. That amounts to under 50% the cost of the high-end 1 TB OLED version, and also puts you $130 compared to a competing handheld. The promotion will run until December 1.
Capacity Considerations and Expansion Possibilities
Although 256 GB may not seem ample storage, it should suffice for gamers who prefer independent or legacy titles. Gamers may easily increase the storage with a microSD card, and numerous Black Friday discounts are available for such accessories.
- A high-capacity microSD card is currently purchased for $79.99, a one-third saving off its usual $119.99 retail cost.
This Deal Is a Top Holiday Choice
This Steam Deck deal is one of the top-tier electronics promotions this season, alongside other significant gaming system price reductions. For those considering joining the Steam Deck ecosystem, now could be the perfect time.
